I have gone here since I can remember. I have spent thousands on glasses and contacts. Yesterday, my last pair of contacts ripped and I am leaving for a week today to visit family. I don’t have glasses with the correct script, so I called to try to make an appointment to renew my script and asked if I could please buy a sample pair of my contacts (which I have used the same ones for ten years). The receptionist was soooo rude. I had loved the old one, she always helped me if I was in a pinch. I asked if I could please speak to the doctor, bc he would understand that I cannot miraculously get a box of contacts in 24 hours and can’t be blind while traveling alone with a 4 year old. Maybe poor planning on my part, but in the last year I lost my mother suddenly and found out I had a life threatening aneurysm. She did not care - called me and said THE OWNER, Tony, said NO I cannot have a sample sorry bye. She didn’t even offer to make my appointment for when I got back. Thankfully I called a doctor who helped me elsewhere. I will never be back.

If there was an option to give them -5 stars I would. I went to see Dr. Seymour for a minor eye issue and he destroyed my eye. It has been over a month and I still can not see properly. My eyes are irritated and sensitive to any form of light. This is a major tragedy because I need my eyes to do everything in my life. He insisted I would need surgery and proceeded to add a liquid to my eye. When I have gone to doctors in the past for my issue I have never had this problem. I would advise anyone who wants to keep their vision to NEVER go to Independent Eye Care. At any location.

I have been seeing Dr. See more at Independent Eye Care for many years. I have never had anything but exceptional service and clinical eye healthcare. I have scarring and a medical issue with my right eye. Dr. Seymour uses a digital image to detect any changes each time I go in. He shows me the image and reviews it with me. Everyone treats me with respect and genuine care. There's very little turnover of staff, so that to me reflects that staff are satisfied with their jobs.

Truly amazing customer service- My dog ate my glasses, I couldn't see a thing. They had me repaired with new lenses, glasses and everything so quickly- and so affordably. I can see clearly now that they are the best of the best. Highly recommend!!

I have been going to Independent Eye Care since I started wearing glasses. The evaluations are extremely thorough and I never question the recommendations. They are 100% there for eye health and NOT about selling glasses. My prescription has changed in a minor way the past few years and they recommended I stay with the same glasses due to the minimal change. BUT...since years have passed, I did decide on new frames to keep up with fashion. They have so many choices and I found the perfect pair for my face. Thank goodness for the staff for being honest as to what works well with my face shape. I am still thrilled with both my glasses and sunglass frames.

Dr. Harkins is hands-down one of the best eye doctors I have seen. Her demeanor and bed-side manner is calm, positive, thorough, attentive, and personal. Dr. Harkins made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I find that doctors usually are distracted or rushed when visiting their patients, but not with Dr. Harkins. I would definitely recommend Dr. Harkins to anyone. Thank you!

First off, they gave me the wrong prescription and I had to go back to get it corrected. I had to pay for new lenses even though it was their fault they gave me ones far too weak, which was unfair but not the worst of it. They have signs all around their office saying "We're cheaper than LensCrafters" and "We'll Match Any Price". DO NOT BELIEVE THESE SIGNS. They are UNTRUE. I decided after buying the new lenses to buy new frames to put them into since I just used old frames before. I then put a deposit down on RayBans that were $209.99. Later I was down the street at the mall doing Christmas shopping and walked by LensCrafters and out of curiosity went in. I then found the same frames for $159.99! I called and left a message informing them of this. Four days went by and they had still failed to return my call so I called and was on hold for over 5 minutes, only to find out they do not actually match prices. The only good thing they did was refund my card of my deposit. Overall, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a business. Even McDonald's treats their customers better, which is despicable.

I have been a patient of Independent Eye Care since they opened. My entire family has been examined and cared for by the exceptional Doctors and Opticians. They work with us to find the right solution for our eyes whether it's glasses, contacts, sunglasses...we've bought them all! I personally have 3 pairs of reading glasses, my husband has distance glasses and prescription sunglasses, my Mom has bifocals, my Dad has progressives, and other members of my family have glasses and contacts. The frame selection is fantastic. We've found a wide range of styles and prices and they've all been made to last. There is something to be said for "independently" owned businesses. They truly care- you're their patient - not just another customer like some of the bigger chain or discount eyeglass stores. I can't speak highly enough about my experience.
